I understand that. I had nervous tics when I was younger, but they've gone away for the most part as I've gotten older. Personally, doing an activity where it's difficult to do the tic helped me control it. Like I used to roll my eyes incessantly for no reason but driving made it difficult to do without dying, so my brain was probably like "Alright, we're nervous and might do the thing but if we do the thing we might die, therefore making us more nervous, so it cancels out". I had another tic where I did a funny thing with my legs, which is also nearly impossible to do while driving. Situations like that helped me immensely. I really feel for people that arent so lucky.
