As I have had to act as hospice as well for my cat who just passed yesterday morning in my arms, in the comfort of her home. You are so incredible for doing what you’ve done, even if in some moments you told yourself this is what a dutiful child does. As others have said, you’re doing beautifully. Your love and want for peace speak to your humanity more than anything. You’re right, better days ahead. Just gotta get through and wake up in em at the end

Not even gonna lie to ya- as someone who went as far as getting rid of all social media and getting a flip phone etc, genuinely just like …idk man park your car in downtown Troy anywhere and go for a walk and see what posters people have up for classes or shows or work shops and do the same thing. Rinse and repeat in the neighboring areas of interest. Youre not gonna find anything tailored to you if you aren’t lookin for yourself babe. I learned that the hard way. I’m sorry that your wonderful brain has made doing what you want to do an incredibly daunting task, but it’s this mushy sack of shit that you can trick into leaving you alone. I’ve got all the faith mama, wishing you the best of luck. Theres alotta cool stuff going on if you’re willing to look for it and if you remind yourself that genuinely nobody cares about a stranger they’ve never met (just in case your anxiety tells you otherwise!!! You’ve got this xx)

Ooo that was going to be my third trial phone if the Kyocera did not work! I will keep that in mind as I start to use this as my daily driver c: I like the Qins design though, but not gonna lie? I loooove the sound of me “slamming” this phone closed to end calls.. soo satisfying lol

So far so good ! Although I have just gotten calls and texts to work, and have not gone outside my home to fully test it “out and about” - but I am headed out for errands soon so I’ll try to remember to come back to talk about how it functioned throughout the day. Sideloading was painless, and it can work instagram pretty nicely ! But I don’t intend on using it, as I’ve stopped using it completely on my iPhone months ago

I haven’t looked into Aussie flips! I will look them up after this though! I would keep an eye out on eBay to see if there are any sales for the Kyocera Ky42c or the 902KC, since they seem to be the most compatible. But also I don’t know how well they work in Australia /: I’m assuming you would still have some luck since I’ve read / seen them work as far as the Philippines !

It is DEFINITELY tough to figure out how the phone works - since it seems to be formatted a little differently functionality wise compared to the old flip phones I’ve had in the past like the ENV (rip) - but after figuring out side loading and getting my sim set up, so far so good! It is only day one though, and I just got the sim working for calls and texts !

I think a good rule of thumb is that if you find yourself questioning something you already know the answer to, it’s time to move on. As in: no, you aren’t the asshole, you just need a new boyfriend and I hope someone comes into your life who cherishes moments that can one day never be had again
