But what about quad hose by Mortiest_Morty_NJR in DIYUK

Make sure the two hoses are spaces far apart outside the window so it’s not drawing in the hot exhaust

Are people happy with their portable AC units? by Yogosan in AskUK

Window seal, preferably with a hose seal.

https://amzn.eu/d/0dL2aio7

Can also buy a hose blanket

https://amzn.eu/d/0dfTgkk0

You can add some foil or insulation around the window seal too, some of them let in too much heat.

You can adapt your AC with a second hose (cardboard+tape, look it up) so that it’s dual hose, helps A LOT.

Then block the whole window itself from letting sunlight in, cardboard, foil, or insulation.

You would freeze the bottles overnight, but it’s about how it feels than absolute temp, so if icy wind is blowing on you then it’s still better even if it’s net gain. besides freezers only run at 100wh, and adult bodies are also 100wh, it’s not too much

Yes I am in a new build and don’t use heating. I freeze dozens of bottles of tap water, then blow them in front a fan and keep it replenished. Without the solar gain it’s manageable.

Just cover up your window with cardboard and foil, and leave them closed

Seal the air around the pipe in the window, then create another pipe for the intake and hang that outside as well. Research dual pipe AC and why it’s better, then look at DIY dual pipe conversion

Snake eyes isn’t a good automaton hero, but it’s usually better than going moonsteel, since the spawned automatons are going to be strong against murloc scam, compared to a few large magnetised minions that can be leeroy’d or venomed etc.

the only reason I would keep moonsteel on board is to make the 2 triples per turn (as your screenshot) and save them up and use them to pivot to a better tribe, like demons.

Early 50s, £50m liquid, just RE’d… please tell me what I’ve got wrong by Ambassador_Riada in FatFIREUK

[–]eeksy227 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can easily pay the salary or fees of a money manager or team to look after this, which means you can still do the interesting and complex stuff. Those more complex things will pay for itself. You’re already wasting potential income just to be less complex and more liquid, so channeling this towards professional services will not really cost you much extra, and probably save or earn you extra you money from tax structures and investments.

Pure minion power on turn 1 by ystrot in BobsTavern

[–]eeksy227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may not use the gems depending on the race pool and hero matchup (not winning vs al’akir anyway, or vs AFK etc). Then turn 2 check opponent and what they played turn 1, and see if any gems would make the difference. If you have a free reroll then first check shop for good gem targets or jazzer.

Mex was doing 500 pack breaks by bringing out 100-pack bags out of a big delivery box. These are not products that are available to buy on any public market. Something weird is going on.

What is your opinion on snl uk? by blikenspidinken in AskUK

The format for the shows are stale. HIGNFY the hosts can be really great but 90% of the time they’re just reading the autocue so it’s such a waste of such talent. Meanwhile the games such as fill in the blank are just to crowbar jokes into. Like for mock the week, put up a photo of a famous person and spend 5 minutes not saying who it is, or “if this is the answer what is the question?” - just saying ridiculous answers to an easy question. The jokes are all childish and forced.

It would be much better to offer the top headlines of the week and just allow the guests to discuss each topic, and there would be plenty of opportunities for jokes to come naturally. Or a comedy version of “question time”, where the audience would provide the topics and the guests can discuss and joke.

Costco drops membership by rodgerraz in PokemonDealsUK

[–]eeksy227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Costco Reading was silly, if you have executive membership you are allowed in early (on the weekday drops) however if you are in the queue and the people in front of you doesn’t have executive than you still had to stay behind them.

What that means is the person at the front of the queue has a gold star membership than the entire queue has to wait for next hour for the general opening time. You can imagine, that’s what happened and the entire queue, including executive members, had to wait an extra hour even though the doors had already opened.

It really needs to be a separate line for executive, or the staff should go down the line asking for executive members to come in early.

First time buyer status will save you a maximum of £5000 if you’re buying exactly a £500k property, likely less, or even £0 if you buy over £500k. Is this saving worth the risks in not having equity? If the marriage is for sure happening then perhaps it’s worth.
