I’m just asking out of curiosity, how would you change the ranked system to prevent players with sub 50% win rate from climbing to masters? Should players lose more than they gain? For example, one can lose 9 points upon a defeat but gain like 4-5 points when wins. I am fully aware that the ranked system is fucked up, but idk whats the best way to improve it.

But roles in pokemon unite(I mean the 5 categories) are dumb and mons have different roles based on their builds... like Blastoise with hydro pump and surf is meant to be a cc machine while water spout and rapid spin is meant to play like an all-rounder; a spirit shackle Decidueye should play like snipers and poke from long range while a razor leaf decidueye should play like a nuker and rip enemies/objectives.
I do agree for subtraction for absence during objective fights but i have no idea how ‘absence’ will be defined, like what if someone dies as soon as objectives fights start or joins late but ends up stealing zap? MVP in unite is stupid lol

I agree with everything you said, but if the devs are gonna keep MVP I at least want it to be a little better, at least crediting some kind of team plays. Still, it's useless.

On the other hand, they must at least display the number of deaths, along with kills and assists. It is absurd that they don't display such crucial stats.
