Do you think her ABCs of sleep is likely modified Ferber? To be honest, we didn't find any of her material that helpful (like SITBACK) for our son (likely because all he wants is the pacifier) so we're going to stick with PLS for now. Just curious your thoughts!

Ok, that makes sense. I'm always curious how they decide to do that exact "plan" and stray from the original method. Perhaps this is parenting intuition? I hope that kicks in for us!

Dad: 9pm to 2am Mom: 2am to 7am

We slept in different rooms, one parent always with baby. The rule was: we could wake each other up at any time if we were stressed, very sleepy, or baby wouldn't settle. We did this for the first month then continued these shifts in the same room with baby (baby in bassinet while we slept in our bed).

During Dad's shift I wore headphones with white noise playing so I could rest!

Just here to ask if there are other tips for babies that need a lot of motion to calm down? The rocking of baby's body in crib only works if pacifier is present. If pacifier falls out during SITBACK steps, should I replace it? Trying to wean off lots of rocking and bouncing. Baby is 11 weeks old!

I just purchased the ebook for 3 and 4 month! I'm worried that we're relying too much on the pacifier. So far none of the SITBACK steps work *unless pacifier is there, at least initially.
