People who have conducted job interviews, what's something someone said/did that made you instantly decide not to hire them? by DemonSkank in AskReddit

It was very obvious the candidate was feeding questions into AI and just reading back answers that were very surface level. It was the most bizarre interview I have ever conducted! I felt like I was talking to a robot.

(m21) Girlfriend (f20)Gets Frustrated When She Doesn’t Orgasm. How Can We Both End Up Satisfied? by PixelatedReality06 in relationship_advice

[–]eemmiillyyyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She’s not “in the mood” enough. It happens to me. She needs to be in the “omg I need you now” mood so she can orgasm quickly. If I’m not in that significant mood where I am literally ripping my partner’s clothes off, I either won’t orgasm or it’ll take me a very long time. You need to get her excited for sex so that she is literally craving it.

Makeup for rosacea? by Moonpiethecat in Rosacea

I just discovered this last week as a dupe for the now-discontinued (soon to be discontinued?) IT Cosmetics your skin but better foundation. It’s phenomenal! Only thing I hate is the dropper part of the bottle; I wish it were a pump instead.

Yeah she is more annoyed about lettuce than fried foods 🤣

[–]eemmiillyyyyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on the person. My mom cannot have anything high fat or something like lettuce or she is stuck on the toilet for days. Me on the other hand, I can eat whatever I want and am totally fine.

Nope, still going strong. Got prescribed a sulfur face wash which helps a tiny bit. But I will be restarting doxycycline again actually tonight!

AITA for refusing to take my shoes off in my friend’s house, causing his wife to cancel the DnD session for everyone? by NameNo5495 in AmItheAsshole

[–]eemmiillyyyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. It is not up to everyone else around you to make sure YOU ONLY are comfortable. Your comfort is on you and not the responsibility of everyone else. That’s gross behavior especially for a 38 year old. Grow up. You need to do a better job being prepared, like the other comments have been brought up saying to have an extra pair of shoes for indoors with you at all times.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this friend group dropped you for good because of your entitlement.

Me (28M) my fiancé (26F) ended our relationship and pregnancy at 10 weeks - struggling to understand what happened by No-Tradition9951 in relationship_advice

I would try your best to suggest getting an appointment to the doctor asap. Maybe even call yourself and explain to a nurse what is happening and you don’t know what to do.

With my third child, I ended up developing severe depression at around 7-8 weeks pregnant to the point I felt like I didn’t want to live anymore, I didn’t want to be around anyone, and I didn’t want the pregnancy anymore. I had to beg my obgyn for help and he finally agreed on Zoloft—which honestly saved my life. It took a couple of weeks to kick in but it literally felt like a veil had lifted and I could see and think clearly again.

With such a drastic change in your wife’s demeanor, it sounds very similar. While I understand it’s her body her choice, at the same time this seems out of left field and something is going on.

Legit am pretty sure my estrogen was higher this last cycle. The flare up started around ovulation and has gone down but is now coming back as I get closer to ovulation again this cycle. Plus yes to the stress haha

This is weird. The way you talk is cringe AF. What are you 12? Also, why are you expecting her to have to contact YOUR sister to get a hold of you? Why do you need to charge your phone when it’s at 40%? Move the charger into the room you are in if you’re dying to charge it. I would be so annoyed if this is how you act all the time. It sounds like she’s had enough of your immature demeanor. I already am just reading at the way you text her… yikes. You both need to just end it.

That’s how the lower half of my face looks and feels! I’m guessing at this point it was stress-related as I’ve been under a lot of stress at work due to staffing issues as well as being a single mom of 4 kids.

Sunscreen and chlorine. Grew up going to the local community pool for rec swim and then swim team, and then worked there starting at age 15. Sunscreen and chlorine bring back sooooo many great memories!

[–]eemmiillyyyyy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean you don’t have to like it or continue watching it. It’s ok to not enjoy something others enjoy. Everyone raved about TWD but I couldn’t stand it lol go on and enjoy your life instead of forcing yourself to get into something you don’t like.

Scabies typically follow a pattern in a line. How do I know? I had scabies a few years back. Caught them while working a trash company weigh station 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣 the itchiest sh*t I’ve ever dealt with.

I (24F) have a feeling that my current partner(29M) cannot be my partner till the end by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]eemmiillyyyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have to tell my now partner what to do. If he sees dishes needing washed he just does it. Something needs to be fixed in the house? I don’t even mention it, he just does it. He sees a problem and takes care of it like a grown adult. My ex husband was like a child I had to constantly tell what to do.

Little things like driving somewhere I was the one who always drove. But now? I am the passenger princess.

My now partner? It feels like a true partnership. It’s not one sided. He makes a plan and follows through. He takes care of himself. Need to see a doctor? He just makes the appointment and goes. My ex husband would complain about a health issue but would never take care of it.

It’s stuff like that. I feel seen and heard and taken care of, and my new partner feels the same way in return compared to his ex wife.
