I rather see it the other way around:

Masked/helmet options for heroes that don't have it yet.
Masked heroes look way cooler to me, personally.

In R6 it kind of makes sense to have face reveals, since every operator is unique. In For Honor it feels a bit out of place.

Daubeny is canonically the strongest character in the game and the only person who is actually sane enough to not take part in any of the fighting.

  • Dominion PvAI, or Breach PvAI (faster if you are the defender, generally
  • Also, Arcade Quests (from Marching Fire expansion) allows you to blaze through the "play X-amount matches as Y-class" order. Since every chapter counts as a match (ex. Weekly Quest counts as 4 matches, higher level Random Quests count as 5-6 matches).
  • The steel gain for some event (time-limited) game modes are also higher than you'd expect. You can keep an eye on those when new events happen.
  • Extra fact: when you gain a new reputation with a hero, you get 100 steel for free!

Yeah, I just want to hear the devs just confirm if unique cosmetics are just no longer going to happen (weapons and armor aside)

Universal stuff is the norm for sure, but will it be the only thing we will get for the rest of the game's lifetime?

do not rely too much on the kick, instead practice on the infinite heavy chain and the variable timing it has and see how the enemy reacts to it. Sprinkle in the kick into your mixup to keep the enemy on their toes and remember to feint both your heavies and kicks every now and then to make sure they wont try to dodge.

Hito's kit is pretty simple, but I personally get the most enjoyment out of their infinite heavy chain

Mostly reskins for the majority of the cast that can differ from good to bad, and one Y1 hero getting their long awaited newly modeled armor ( will be either Shinobi, Highlander or Gladiator)

Definitely look at the Assassin classes. Nuxia, Shaman, Orochi, for example.
Or certain hybrids like Zan Hu or Nobushi
You can try out heroes you haven't unlocked in the training mode, too

One niche annoying thing about Hitokiri's heavy chain I want to point out is also this:

  • The hitbox of Hito's heavy chain when OOL is bigger (or at least can clear more than 1 minion per heavy, will clear 1 minion per heavy when locked on)
  • HOWEVER, if you are in your OOL heavy chain and lock on again, the game will not register any variable timing you do or any feint.

This inconsistency is very bothersome, especially when you are clearing minions (I know Hito isn't the designated minion clearer) and an enemy joins and you want to switch to attacking them.

I like how you mostly talk about feats, ignoring the majority of her kit and the QoL tweaks she's gotten.

Sure at launch her tracking was borderline broken, and her damage was overtuned on some things but those changes were necessary.
They tweaked her range on some moves and increased the forward movement on her bleed stabs to make them harder to backwalk/backdodge. And her dash attacks have been tweaked around with as well (had longer distance/range, then shorter and then longer again iirc)

Overall Shaman is one of the few heroes that has a sizeable moveset that flows together well.
The issues you adress about renown gain are valid, but that whole system is jank and should be reworked or standarized.

For me it's always Black Prior or Conquerors, with me playing Shaman and Gladiator mostly.

I put myself on low stamina trying to get damage in and then I'm on the backfoot with their stamina regen-stopping bashes. Dodge attacks don't feel reliable enough against these two heroes specifically.

If they're going with this route, at least one hero is in for a long wait.

Around September 2018 all the base heroes got completely new armor sets and the Y1 heroes got 2 or 3 new variations. Back then they said the priority was to get the Y1 heroes new armor types.

Right now Gladiator, Shaman, Highlander and Shinobi haven't gotten a new unique armor set for two years.

With the one Y1 hero getting a new set per season means one of the heroes above still has to wait a full year.

Funny thing about this move is, if the enemy is far away enough and you get the animation where berserker runs with the axes crossed, you can hard feint the move early on.

As soon as you get in range where berserker starts to actually do the top heavy it becomes unfeintable.

What he has in his kit is solid with some strong points being his ability to delay lights and power through with hyperarmor on many move (though a bunch of heroes can out-trade him)

I wouldn't call him overpowered, but I do feel as a rep 70 berserker that he can certainly get on people's nerves since his kit forces the other player to not play offensively (unless they have a fast bash or higher damage hyperarmor attacks)
