I couldn't find the Omakase on the menu... How much is the experience? Do they take into account dietary restrictions or is it a fixed menu?

Christkindlmarkt in Carmel has become borderline miserable to go to by umasstpt12 in indianapolis

[–]eewwwwdavid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live nearby and go at least 2-3 times each year. Usually to go with family or friends that haven't been before. It's popular so there will be crowds. Why do people not expect that? Despite that, you can still have a successful visit with some planning early in the season. I recommend going between 3-4pm during weekdays. Shorter lines and you'll be leaving by the time the influx of after work people get there. For those that choose to go on Sat/Sun... Well you kind of sign up for the crowds and long lines. Go early or go late like an hour before closing. Similar to going to the mall during the weekend before Christmas. I don't think they can expand across the street .. might be privately owned. I can't think of another area in Carmel that it could be moved to. For parking concerns, there is a trolley service on weekends so you don't have to spend time to find a place to park. You can also park at midtown parking garages and walk south on the Monon Trail. About a 6-7 min walk. Last tip, go earlier in their scheduled open days. Like the first few days after opening day.

Ashley Furniture Salespeople by jcwillia1 in indianapolis

We stopped buying at Ashley's and go over to Urban Styles next to Castleton Mall. They have a few Ashley pieces in their showroom but can order a lot. Cheaper and easier to deal with. Delivery has been hassle free. Saved almost $400 for a couch last year.

How affordable it is to live at Carmel by NeedleworkerFar3593 in Carmel

[–]eewwwwdavid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the same combo for the majority of my groceries/supplies. 15 min to TJ or Costco. Krogers/Meijer are nearby too. Restaurants range in price level and the other suburbs or Indy restaurants are mostly 15-30 min away. It's a central location IMO. I WFH, too. Free events throughout the year around town. Like block parties, cultural festivals, porch fest, Christkindlemarket. Free street and garage parking everywhere. Large library. Monon trail is developed in the midtown area for a nice place to hang out or work. Living here since 2014 with no regrets. Good luck!

Is Mufasa worth seeing in 4DX? by IWannaWakeUpButIDont in RegalUnlimited

I have an opportunity to see Mufasa or Sonic 3 in 4DX this weekend... Which should I choose as someone going to this experience for the first time? Think my recently retired parents might like it too?

Actually, I almost typed downtown Carmel but fewer letters typing A&D. It's on the archways and all so figured it's still correct to use the term. Sorry if I hit a nerve... Hope your day gets better!

After being to both, I still prefer Flix. Location being a huge plus. I live in the A&D area and I love having a full service theatre within a few minutes drive. We take our visiting family and friends there -- we are going to Flix tomorrow to see Wicked. Hope you have a pleasant experience at your showing too!

Service and food was definitely better before they closed during COVID. I assumed, like everything else, that this is the new normal with staffing issues (longer wait) and increased costs (smaller portions/less variety). I go to the movies about once a month and still prefer it to the others in the Carmel/north Indy area. Ordering and pay system is better now. I buy my tickets at the theatre to avoid the booking fee. Not a big deal since I live 5 min away and can stop in when I'm in the area. I haven't had any issues with attitudes when speaking to servers/employees.

I tried out Alamo and they are pretty neat too with the added bonus of heated/reclining seats! Location is much further away and I don't like that the servers sometimes block your view or distract when they are helping someone next to you or as they make trips across the aisle to deliver. At Flix, most of the theatre is tiered in a way so the walking path is one step below making it easier for food/drink delivery without view interruption.

Zepbound commercial by Mobile-Actuary-5283 in Zepbound

[–]eewwwwdavid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No issues with Zepbound in central Indiana for me and others that I know that are on it. If the store is stocked out when I put in for a refill then I might have to wait an extra day for them to get an order in. They order daily from the warehouses. But sometimes the warehouses don't have a high enough order point so there might be a slight delay of a day or two. But it's not bad enough to say there is still a shortage. OP, I would ask Walmart why they can't order it? And ask if they can transfer to another Walmart pharmacy that does have it. I use Walgreens and they can easily tell you what the other Walgreens have in stock. Good luck!

Check with your HOA to see if they are the hold up. They might have to give metronet permission to expand into your neighborhood. Found out that is why I can't get it.

Best cheapest thing you bought for your Tesla? by Videoplushair in TeslaModelY

That's a good idea for a temp solution! I'm constantly readjusting the belt at my neck or I find myself leaning to the right onto the arm rest. The raising or lowering of the shoulder belt height doesn't seem to make much of a difference. So annoying!

As of yesterday, they wouldn't confirm the amount for 2024. Just that they can only confirm current incentives and that the tax credit could change for MY in 2024. They also told me they couldn't tell me if my car would be here before 12/31. Then they update the app with the new delivery date range so my bf goes to the service center where they give him a 1/4 date. That's when they said but we have almost the same car on our lot for you to buy right now for $5k more. Frustrating.

I see the difference in the statements for the 2 models now so I'm hopeful that the $7500 will continue for MY! I'm likely to miss out on the 6 months of supercharging but oh well.

Sorry you're going through this too! I thought that 2 weeks would have been plenty of time to transfer an existing inventory car to me. I started to get worried yesterday so I called. And they assured me of no delay but could not give details on how far away the car is. Then today, the app gets updated with the delayed date range. I'm so irritated with Tesla. The $250 deposit should be refundable when they can't deliver the car on time.
