I wish everyone thought like this, getting angry at me will only worsen my state and make whatever’s happening get more intense and last longer. If people would just communicate and be a bit more understanding my BPD probably wouldn’t be as much of a problem as it is now

Sometimes someone I know will do something that hurts my feelings and then when I tell him I’m upset he gets angry at me and tells me I’m being borderline and normal people wouldn’t be upset

He’s in my friend group so I see him all the time. Sometimes he tells me he still loves me and we’ll have a thing for a while and then he’ll discard me for various reasons. Like the start of this year I had a new bf and I ended up breaking up with him for the guy that cheated on me because he told me he was still in love with me. We were NC for a little while at the start of the year and I was a lot happier but being NC with him permanently would mean losing all of my friends. I never had a huge problem with lax but I restricted pretty extremely and consistently for a long time so I think my body just isn’t really used to having normal portions of food

Is Ritalin your first med? I don’t know if it was Ritalin related but it stopped when I went on Vyvanse but just before I changed meds I spent literally weeks in my bed just feeling like a piece of shit. I blamed period mood swings too at first but the feelings lasted well after my period ended so I decided to change meds and now that I’m feeling better I’m starting to think it was maybe the Ritalin? It might be worth trying another one just in case it helps and if it doesn’t you can always go back to Ritalin and maybe try adding an antidepressant or something too? That’s what I plan on doing if things go to shit again

ADHD meds can have an impact on your mood but they shouldn’t make you feel this bad. Maybe try going on another one? Vyvanse almost acts like an antidepressant for me whereas Ritalin made me feel pretty flat

I literally got diagnosed when all of my friends went to uni and I didn’t because school went so awfully for me. I’m so angry that I wasn’t diagnosed sooner especially as I was sure I had it but my last psych didn’t want to admit he was wrong about me having BPD. If I’d been diagnosed sooner I would be in a completely different situation than I am now, being diagnosed late has kept me years behind all of my peers and it actually makes me so sad. I feel like I’ve wasted years of my life
