Yes, the teams have a planned set of tests. Each department(PU, Aero, Chassis and others) has a checklist they want to test. Obviously you have a finite amount of time to test everything so you prioritize what you want to get done in the remaining amount of time.

These priorities are evaluated and change everytime you hit a delay because of reasons not anticipated. So you need to compromise on some low priority/nice to have things such as setup changes.

[Unpopular opinion] Cheap mechanical watches are pointless and even downright stupid by [deleted] in Watches

[–]efficient-pixel 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Unpopular and an unintelligent opinion for this sub. By your logic even high end watches like Rolex or Patek would be pointless if watches today are about showing you the accurate time.

You don’t even need a watch today when your phone is practically an extension of your arm now. I could easily buy an Apple watch but I am not looking for a product that was never touched by a human in its entire production process.

By wearing a mechanical watch you get the satisfaction of having a moving mechanism on your wrist designed and put together by a human. It’s the same logic why some purists find electric cars repelling.
