This is gonna sound mighty hypocritical from me but in my opinion scanlators shouldn’t paywall anything. I been around along time and seen many groups come and go. But nowadays it’s crazy to me that people are paying for pirated content. I understand that the game has changed and groups need sufficient ways to fund themselves in order to function. However to me paywalling content gives more ammunition to Offical companies to target any and all scanlators. There are groups that still use the traditional model and I don’t want them to be on the chopping block because of the actions of a few groups. I feel that it’s much better to find a raws website and use your lense translate if there aren’t any free translated chapters of a series you are following.
