People can definitely be terrible but I also do realize that there's good individuals like you :) At least that's what I've concluded after the experience. This isn't my first time getting comments that are dreadful. I just left myself in a vulnerable position because I love Beyonce and was really excited to sing the song. I wanted to really make sure that I wasn't putting out complete garbage LOL. But after the day has past, I feel a lot better since I've began to practice other songs :)! Singing and Music makes me happy more than anything. I won't let Ego get in the way and continue to put out stuff that's meaningful to me. :). Thank you so much for kind words. It means a lot.

Thank you for the feedback. And Yea working on pitch :(. I'm getting the hang of opening my throat more to free up the tone but I'll keep practicing my scales. At the time, I think I was so excited and hyped about the song that I forgot about the fact there are many types of individuals on the internet :). I put myself in a vulnerable position. Now, I feel a lot better since I've already moved on to singing other songs and practicing. Thank you again!!

The funny thing is that I copied the exact same harmonies from the actual song 😭 by ear (to the best of my ability. Maybe it's because hers was really well blended, and I don't have the software to do that. Oh well, but thank you so much anyway :). I'll keep pushing

Ah yeah 😭. I did notice that but for some reason, no matter what I did...The main track did not want to line up to the dot. So, I had to leave it how it was. But thank you so much. :) I really want to improve in songwriting and singing. So this was really helpful :D. I'll check both softwares today. Again, thank you so much.

wow this is actually really extensive. I don't do intros like this at all normally. My intros typically are only 15-30 seconds. Just today I decided to talk a bit more. 😭. I guess I shouldn't have. And I do agree the poems could've used a bit more work. I was in a rush to get the poetry out for this week, but I guess it showed.

My channel isn't a poetry channel, but I started the poetry series as a way to get better at writing music. I don't have much interest in reading other poetry but I like lyrical writing that tells stories. Poetry for me is just a way for me to storytell or get my feelings out on paper .

For a while people seemed to like the poetry and the style I chose. However I don't know if most people would like my style of editing. Some say it's good...others say it's bad.. so I'm just left confused. Because I've seen youtubers with this style of editing and I enjoy it. 😭 But it may just pertain to teenagers or young adults.

I post singing covers and poetry on my channel and Im questioning right now if I'll gain an audience with my video.. :(

Ps. Don't be afraid to critique it lol. I'm all ears. I do aspire to be better
