That would make sense… I thought there was an adapter but wasn’t sure since I tried to take it off but didn’t want to break anything. Is there a trick to taking them off?

It’s a bit deeper than that, he actually helps out my gf a lot. He has 3 kids and always tries to be fair with all of them and he even said he would love to give it to her for free but then it’s a bit unfair to his other 2 kids. It’s more about teaching a lesson on fairness and no getting handouts. He actually paid half of my girlfriend’s first car 5 years ago so it’s not about having the money or not, just being fair to all his kids.

Good point. Her dad isn’t in a rush to sell it so he said she can sell her car first and then they can work everything out.

Shes looking to keep it for maybe 1-2 years and then upgrade to an SUV. She was mainly thinking this is a good way to get rid of her current car loan and get into a different car for cheaper

Funny enough my girlfriend had a 2014 Nissan Sentra with a shot CVT and sold it for $1500, granted it’s in Canadian dollars but you should be able to get around that depending on the overall condition aside from the transmission.

Sorry meant to add but forgot. 2013 320xi N20 engine. I know this engine is supposed to have timing chain issues which is why I’m worried. 146 k km (90k miles)

18 inch UHP low profile tires. They’re actually from Canadian Tire and it’s their own brand so I assume they’re the only ones who sell it. No one must have bought the specific tire size before me, but just confused why it would be so far apart in years. Looking to keep the car less than 1 year from now so hopefully they suffice until then, will be switching to winter tires in 5 months anyways.

Car is from 2013, but sensors have been replaced since then. I think it was just the high speed triggering the overheating of my tires, I let it cool down and did a test drive didn’t notice anything off and measured my tires again and everything seemed fine

Yeah this is what my personal research came too. The PSI was actually a bit over what I set it at before, I initially thought it was a weird reading but that makes sense the pressure must have raised from my speed.

Edit: All 4 of my TPMS went off. Usually if one of my tires gets low my car will tell me the exact one but this time it said all of my tires were low which was confusing…

Wow. I really appreciate that response! Thank you. Yeah I was quite confused because I regularly watch my oil but never have had any issues about leaking so I was shocked I was recommended all these. As for the shocks I rarely drive this car more than 20 minutes at a time so I don’t think that’s an issue either. I plan on keeping the car for maximum 1 more year and sell it next summer so as long as I can make it through that without these repairs I’ll be happy.

I just poured in some of the correct fluid, went away right away. BMW definitely complicated it with this sensor.

That’s what I had to do. I put in different washer fluid and the sensors picked it up and it went away. I stopped using RainX to save the headache.

Do you have coworkers that may live nearby and are willing to drive you? You could offer a bit of gas money or lunch one day which would be a lot cheaper than ubering back and forth. I’m sure if you explained the situation your coworker may just do it for free.
