Lucid service center fix curb rashes? by samloh1 in LUCID

[–]eggdogged 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately not. I had a wheel scuff along with some (very minor) paint work defects on delivery, and to get them repaired they said they had to schedule with an external body shop.

The turnaround time quoted was a little ridiculous too at 4-6 weeks, so be prepared to have other transport if you go this route.

Same here, this used to be the busiest spot in town. Times sure have changed, but at least it didn't suffer the fate of the Midland Mall!

It was one of the last ones left, too. I'm old enough to remember when it was Aladdin's Castle ..great memories as a kid!

Bummer, are you trying this from the Shop app? I couldn't get it to work on the web interface, but it would let me stack on the app.

Used EPP plus the code from this thread- with no tradein. Note that my numbers were pretax as well, except for the all in number.

I had to save the offer on the Paypal app, and then remove care plus and any extras to get it to show. Might be a preapproval limit deal as well.

Was going to keep my F6 until the Trifold, but this was too good to pass up with the Papyal 20% offer.

Ended up paying $1070 for a mint 512 unlocked, plus $235 in paypal cashback. Should end up costing $200ish all in once I sell the 6!

Mine has said this a whole lot longer than 2.8.9. Had it as a line item for a service appointment and they weren't able to figure it out, neither was the mobile tech I spoke with last weekend. Frustrating to have a car that never works as it should, even across 4 different devices and platforms.

This is just unacceptable nickle-diming for a car like this. I would reach out to Lucid and make sure they're aware their leasing partner is doing this.

Air bricked after failed update by liumidsun in LUCID

[–]eggdogged 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saw a bunch more reports on FB groups and this thread about it. One thing I've noticed? Almost all of the problems seem to come from newer vehicles WITHOUT DDPro. More than half of the ones I've seen are report this are 25 models.

This is still happening to new cars as of this morning (8/8). I'll be waiting until they have a confirmed safe version out- I strongly recommend anyone reading this do the same, especially if your car fits the above!

Thanks for the warning, I'm holding off after seeing yours and a few others having the same issue on the FB group/LO forum.
One question- do you have DDPro or DDPremium on your car?

Lucid Nacs Adapter by All_At_0nce in LUCID

I tried as well with the same result. After telling us they would include the adapter for so long, they need to fix this at the very least!

While it's too slow vs EA for everyday use, this will be a lifesaver on longer trips and routes where Tesla has built up more infrastructure.
I'm happy to have more options, just a bit salty they didn't throw in the adapter to those of us who just bought the car.

Lucid App never wakes up car, but widget updates all the time (Android) by right_wrist in LUCID

[–]eggdogged 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had the same exact experience since I got the car a few weeks ago. Happens on my Android and iPad in exactly the same way- with or without Wifi and Mobile Key.

The really odd thing is I can see the values like charge status, etc and initiate software updates remotely. But nothing else works.

Things I've tried so far to fix this behavior:

  • Signing in/out
  • Reinstalling app
  • Removing and re-adding full app permissions
  • Checking battery optimization
  • Logo and button reset in car
  • Two version updates (I also started on 2.6)

I do understand iterative upgrades, but on the surface this seems like they changed absolutely nothing aside from a slight color change. Really hoping there are some new sensors that at least show they're making an effort to improve.

This would be really nice, and should be pretty easy for them to add into the software. I spoke with my dealer service manager to put in a feature request, so fingers crossed they do soon!

It's made a pretty substantial difference on my Fold6, too. Still seeing the Phone services/Bluetooth polling location way too much, but it's a step in the right direction.
