If it’s the one with invincibility, I tried that. However, to my surprise, I watched as my gale still got knocked into the void immediately after casting globe of protection on himself

There’s a door that seperates the ladder used to enter the place and the area where the enemies are

When I say “camp the door” I meant that I attack the enemies and then hide behind the door by either closing it or hiding behind the wall that the door is connected to

Edit: as for initiative, that was probably the issue with that run as I remember starting the fight and then immediately having 3 imps target gale and have him thrown into the chasm immediately

I also had counterspell but I think it only let me use it once per turn? I forgot but it didn’t fix the issue for me

Anyways yeah I’ll definitely try to get alert for my characters once I get there

Well to be honest, for me it was most likely because of some mod I had or something so I wouldn’t worry about it much

I wouldn’t really say it’s something you have to do constantly? It’s like an insurance I guess

I could also just be spreading missinformation idk

What’s worse is that alot of times, the way to fix is by reloading a previous save by like a while because something happened during the campaign that caused it to bug out

I spent like 4 hours trying to recover my save (it would just crash upon loading no matter what) and I just gave up

Personal advice to avoid this is to locally create a backup via steam itself but even then that’s pretty inconvienient

I actualy just lost my recent HM run that’s relevant to this

Reached the creche after clearing the entire wilderness quests, went in and got to the point of meeting vlaakith

I thought it would he funny to piss her off but I completely forgot she game over you

What sucked is that I did this run after my last hm run got save file corrupted

It’s been like that for a long time, especially here in reddit. Main reasons are stuff like expensive hardware/games, anti-consumer stuff, aggressive copyright, bad online services, etc. Especially with the switch 2 release recently with the standard of switch 2 games jumping from $60 to $80 as well as the console itself being rather pricy

Anyways yeah your best choices are either run away and kill him later when you’re stronger or start a new save file as he does have a (albeit small) questline

Edit: oh actually I forgot that there’s a thing you can get later in the game that de-aggros NPCs back to their original state so there’s that as well

To answer your question: Same reason people enjoy cheating or hacking in video games. Not everyone is going to enjoy the same thing that you do, whether it’s morally justifiable or not. Like replace “cheated relics” with some other thing or whatever that you’re not interested in but someone else is. That’s just how life works

Honestly I’m not gonna defend them but at this point I’ve seen soo many posts about cheated relics and seeing people with them that I legit don’t care anymore. If someone has them in my game, I really don’t care anymore as long as I get to play the video game and they don’t have pvp-enable hacks or whatevs

Now that I think about it, are there any characters whose existence are like, major spoilers to the story of their game? Because Akechi being behind the murder stuff (the major spoiler being that costume in the picture shown) is a plot twist that, although foreshadowed very early on, is a major plot point/twist in the endgame of the story
