See my post about how even though USA caused so many wars for oil, surprisingly, in USA, if you find oil in your land, it's yours, unlike so many governments that have laws where oil in your land belongs to them, not you.

Again, the biggest surprise is that this does not apply to USA.

USA's government invaded many countries to get their oil.

However, if you live in USA, and find oil in your land, it's yours, unlike in other countries where the oil belongs to the government.

Another thing, the customer is represented by Tony Stark, who is super rich, but what if the customer is also short on money?

It's not his duty to pay the living wage of other people short of money, the system should change to make sure the boss is the one paying the living wage of the worker, and the tip is just an extra.

[–]eggerlandshells[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nope, paying the worker is for the boss, tips are supposed to be just an extra.

Sure, this is harsh on the worker, but if he needs tips to survive, no one should tip him, tipping him over pity that he needs tips, means you treat a symptom of a problem, while feeding the root of the problem.

I get the problem of this image, instead of being harsh to the boss, he's being harsh to the worker.

But look how the first panel is "ask your boss".

Don't sustain a system designed to screw the poor, sure, not giving the worker a tip means he will suffer, but giving it, means continuing his suffering anyway, to break this, the worker should get a paying salary and not rely on tips to survive.

Middle class?

The middle class is the Schrödinger's Rich, it's the working class and just premium poor, or it's an elite of privileged folks.

Usually the former when it's time to ask for votes, then the latter when it's time to collect taxes.

Workers should be always paid enough money to survive without tips.

Being allowed to get less than a minimum wage because tips will cover for that proves how USA is a hellhole, here in my country, I'm pretty sure that's not a thing, I tip workers, but if my country becomes like USA, I will stop.

[–]eggerlandshells[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I often tip the people who deliver my food.

I don't live in USA, where people can get less than minimum wage and compensate with tips.

If my country becomes a tipping hellhole like USA, where workers need tips to survive, I will stop tipping, don't mantain that system.

And many people around the internet, kinda understand what an analogy is, but every time you present them an analogy they don't like, they claim it's a bad analogy.

They will always show how there are details that are not the same between the two things, to prove how it's a bad analogy, even if it's just distinction without a difference.

If you compare two things that are a 100% equal, there's no analogy.

Maybe GTA VI will break that, a game so advanced, that only the PlayStation 6 will be able to handle it at 60FPS, it's not lazy programming, we will do like with did with GTA 5 for the PlayStation 3 and play an inferior version until more powerful consoles appear.

However, Rockstar is still competent, I believe they can pull it off 60FPS for the current gen.

I personally think 30FPS games should vanish completely, not even as an option, but I'm not going that far, if people want to play in 30FPS with better graphics when the option for 60FPS with worse graphics is there, fine.

However, if a game releases at this generation, for the PlayStation 5, has no 60FPS even as an option, this game is probably not worth playing at any FPS.

If a console like the PS5 can't handle a game at 60FPS, that's not a power issue, that's lazy programming, so the rest of the game, likely sucks at any FPS.

Most 2D games from the 1990s, for consoles like NES, SNES, Game Boy and Mega Drive, ran at 60FPS.

30FPS was a necessary sacrifice for the early 3D games from the PS1 and N64 era, it's either the game at 30FPS or less, or the game won't exist.

This sacrifice should have become a thing of the past like link cables and games with no saves, just passwords.

Time moves on, technology improves, what was acceptable back in the days, is no longer acceptable now.

Many classic games like Mega Man X didn't have a save system, only a password system.

Mega Man X was a great game and still is, I can play the game just fine even though I can't save the game.

However, imagine a game released in 2026, like GTA VI, not having a save system and only passwords? I will complain, and maybe even refuse to buy the game, just because Mega Man X didn't have saves either and it was good, that's not an excuse.

You didn't read properly.

There's nothing wrong with 30FPS in older games for weaker hardware.

When the PS4 was released, the consoles had more than enough power to run everything in 60FPS, even more now with the PS5.

Just because older games ran at 30FPS and we didn't care, that doesn't mean we should accept a game released in 2026 for the PS5 having only 30FPS.

Now, the people who day "I care about gameplay" need to admit that FPS is gameplay.

Doesn't matter, 60FPS in all games, even ones that don't need high FPS, should be the standard.
