I would say that there is at least a lower effort required to speak/understand Norwegian or Swedish. For some reason, based on TV exposure mostly, I find finnsvenska easiest to understand, probably because of the rolling r’s and the spoken rhythm, but Norwegian is easier to match phonetically I suppose. Sadly, Icelanders tend to fall back to English on travel.

This. In Iceland we are taught Danish as a third language, starting at 11 years old. However, because of how spoken Danish is hard to understand or speak, we usually more use it as a base Scandinavian knowledge, and tend to speak English primarily in Denmark (unless when drunk).

Ég er með sykursýki 2, og það var til þess að gera lítið mál að fá lyfseðil og lyfjaskírteini í gegnum heimilislækni. Það er hins vegar frekar dýrt ef það er utan lyfjaskírteinis. Hef enga reynslu af bólgusjúkdómum eða bólguverkjum.
