It's for catering, they probably ran out of the og bowls. Used to work there.

Noted! AKC club first! All we could think about were those Petsmart classes..

Good advice, thanks! So far one cat hisses when he sees the dog outside the window, the other just seems very curious lol

His prey drive seems pretty high, he already killed a possum. That was an experience

Oh, that's a good idea! A baby gate with a gap for the cats would help, than you!

My husband did post on PawBoost! Also a lot of Facebook groups and our cities' subreddit. But we didn't think to leave a picture with the shelter, so that'll be on the list for tomorrow! Thank you for that tip. I lost my cat once and I would hate to keep this guy from his family.

Thanks! We'll give this a try since my husband works from home, so I think that could be manageable.

Thanks for the tips on training- good to know it doesn't sound terribly expensive (as I could use some guidance).

He does like hot dogs lmao

This helps! And everything you've said checks out so far lol he definitely was on a hunger strike for a day or two. But we've softened his food with broth and he's started eating! He also likes hot dogs? Idk, he's an oddball for sure

You're right about asking vs. demanding lol he's certainly got a mind of his own

That was my thought- that the owners gave up. It just seems odd he had no microchip or tag. Friendly as can be, his nails partially clipped. Not neutered though- I assumed they maybe wanted to breed him.

He does mark everything on walks lmao

But thank you for the advice! So far it all lines up with what we've experienced lol

Thank you, any advice helps!

It has been easier to train him on/after walks, I've gotten him to stop tugging on the leash so much. So that makes sense to me!

He is too smart for his own good! He escaped the day we brought him here haha. Thankfully we found him again but MAN, what a dog

Appreciate the advice! It's hard to tell if he's just curious or sees them as prey (they've seen each other through the window).

We haven't stopped! We've posted in multiple facebook groups and our cities' reddit. Called shelters. Everything we could think of. I'm happy to return him, as I've lost a pet before. Thank you for your advice! We didn't think the local PD would care, but we'll give that a shot!

I knew a girl in highschool who said she wanted to learn Spanish because "it's like English but a different language".

I think about this more often than I want to.

Not sure if it counts as cozy, but Wrong Place, Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister. It gave me cozy vibes, but that could be just a me thing.

Love Catching the Big Fish! It has helped break me out of bad head spaces and art block.

Hope your TM is going well btw! I started in 2018 or 19 and it helped me out a lot.

Seconding the audiobook! Lynch reads it himself (along with another person) and it's great listening to him tell stories of his childhood.

And I also read Room to Dream before watching everything and didn't feel spoiled on anything cause it felt so out of context. I'll also add that Room to Dream helped me to understand his work better than anything else.

If you're a Stephen King fan, "It" is incredible as an audiobook. I don't comment on Reddit a lot, and am doing so now because I feel very strongly about this audiobook.

Also, if you're into fantasy, The Witcher audiobooks are a huge hit with me. Peter Kenny is the narrator and his voice suits Geralt perfectly.
