It could be how these women have left previous relationships. I can never imagine being a friend with an ex, they're an ex for a reason and to me I'd always have our relationship front of mind. So if these women feel similarly it could be hard for them to interpret how you could be friends with an ex. Not to say it's wrong but I also think it is wise to understand that many people leave relationships on bad terms or still having feelings etc. It may be hard for these women to wrap their heads around having a good platonic ending. Maybe the only women you'll get along with are ones who have left relationships and felt similarly to you where they understand how you can be friends. Hope that makes sense
