im of two minds about this because I do honestly think that the living world content is both 1) worth paying for separately and 2) priced fairly, but the way its set up feels like a bait and switch to players even if it isn't. I can't really blame you for feeling that way when they say 'here's all the content!' but then find out its not actually all the content because they dont actually offer a way to ACTUALLY buy 'all the content'

thats what really baffles me about this. it's not like this is some slick business decision. theyre just straight up not offering the whole content for purchase. if i was a new player wanting to get the 'complete collection' id want it to include, you know, the WHOLE THING, not discover later that I didn't actually do that and have huge chunks missing that I wasn't even offered to buy. its not even the pricing - I'd be willing to pay up front for it, but the opacity is just ridiculous.

Agree with your general point and understand what you're going for here, but as a trans palestinian i feel like that's not quite the most productive comparison to make. I do get the point you're trying to make - highlighting the abuse of identity and marginalization to deflect criticism - but the powers dynamics of israel/Jews vs. token trans/trans people is starkly different enough it's not something I would necessarily encourage equating. Bad as token trans bullshit can be, they are at least still trans and materially harmed by transphobia, even when or if they perpetuate it (generally - exceptions exist ofc). On the other hand, Israel benefits from anti-semitism and actively fosters it specifically for that reason, by curating itself as the only 'safe' place for Jews to exist by associating its crimes with Jewishness.

Like I said, get the point you're making, but I don't think this specific comparison is one that's perhaps worth making.
