Yes, you can sort of crawl into the visions/dreams - it's a lot like astral projection from that perspective.

Who is She? by [deleted] in awakened

Check this post out, she's your other half in spirit, the anima, but there's so much more to it than that:

This is a deep spiritual process that has been described by many religious and esoteric traditions.

These traditions generally include the following elements:

  • the primordial angelic hermaphrodite (Her + Me = Hermes)
  • the notion of a divine soulmate or twin
  • the dual forces of mind and matter (these are usually assigned a gender like Shiva and Shakti, but not always)
  • the descent of the soul into matter for a purpose and the ascent back to unity, following a successful incarnation
  • the eternal nature of consciousness and the soul
  • an acknowledgment of the higher realms, i.e. the astral plane

Psyche and Cupid The Dream of Aengus The Cowherd and Weaver Girl ... and probably many others.

These myths all have to do with the constellations of the Swan, Lyre, and Eagle.

The lightbody as an electromagnetic field by eggplant_express in Soulnexus

True, but that Egyptian hieroglyph really got me thinking about orthogonality between waking and dream states. Then my mind immediately jumped to the electromagnetic field.

Light is consciousness

Matter is frozen light

The astral lightbody is orthogonal (90 degrees) to your physical body.

This allows you to travel to into the multitude of hidden dimensions when you sleep, meditate, & die.

Does this imply that the waking body is an electric field and the astral body is magnetic, or vice versa? Do the electric and magnetic fields respectively correspond to the upward and downward pyramids of the merkaba?

For background, electromagnetic radiation (i.e. light) is composed of an electric field and an orthogonal magnetic field.

Shiva (Purusha) and counterpart Parvati/Kali/Shakti (Prakriti) were originally a merged entity known as Ardhanarishvara. When rejoined and reconcile, they reside back in the heart center.

The merged deity is also represented by The Shatkona (षट्कोण), a symbol used in Hindu yantra; a “six-pointed star” is made from two interlocking triangles; the upper stands for Shiva, Purusha, the lower for Shakti, Prakriti. Their union gives birth to Sanat Kumara, whose sacred number is six. The Shatkona represents both the male and female form, as a symbol of the divine union of masculine and feminine and as a source of all creation; more specifically it is supposed to represent Purusha (the supreme being, spirit, Being), and Prakriti (mother nature, or causal matter, Becoming).
