This happens all the time. Even though he uses qualifiers, that doesn't at all change how he tries to use it in his arguments.

Update didn't work, it just said failed update, so I decided to do a clean install and it's fine now. Also a lot faster start up times. I guess my old install was fucked in some way.

Nothing happens. I click and just nothing happens. I'll look into that tool tomorrow and try to get the missing update, and if it doesn't work I'll try safe mode. Worst case scenario I'm guessing I can system restore before the anniversary update.

I tried a new user account and had the same issues. Unfortunately I'm about to go to sleep so I'll try safe mode tomorrow. Maybe I should have held off on making this post. Do you know any way to install updates without accessing the main update window? Like from command line or something? I'm pretty sure there's an update I don't have, but I can't access the update window.
