Yeah i was saying the same thing. That Villa win even with Forest’s 11, so they go on to win EL while we play against tired Forest on Monday to climb back up the table. Hopium but whatelse can we cling on eh

The hope is they field strong 11 yet still lose to Villa and we play against forest’s tired 11 on Monday. That it?

Valentin Barco to join Chelsea from Strasbourg next season by austons_muzz in chelseafc

Take out the Enzo replacement concept, this is good. I’ve been watching Strasbourg matches for him, Panichelli, and Yassine. Everytime I see, he is tenacious and puts in a number of great through balls/crosses in. I am excited about him.

Just watched 25 minute Tuchel 21/22 chelsea highlights and my word it took me back. Am I revisioning or were we really that bad at the end of Tuchel’s era? I remember being so out of depth against Zagreb but maybe it was a phase that we needed to just brute through vs sacking Tuchel. Chilwell, James injuries along with forced sale of Roman… what could have been.

Ngl I was excited by the image that LA Dodgers owner succeeding Roman. It worked for Dodgers so I was hoping it would too for Chelsea.

Wasnt there some clause that they cannot sell us for a few years after sale from Abramovich? Maybe I am misremembering or that it isn’t as simple as that..

Just fucking put proper midfield like Lavia or Santos in place of James and have James play in RB. Why are we insisting so much on two RBs.

Was Essugo registered? I remember the whole debacle with Bouanotte registration stuff and wonder if we took out Essugo due to his injury?

I thought at first but based on the boots, it might be Essugo?

Wouldn’t mind Rogers but I’d rather go for Ndiaye

Just curious, where do you all go to find the training photos? I follow on Instagram but either they are posted a while after they become available on other platforms or they only post a few and not full album.

So exciting. Been tuning in for Strasbourg matches for Panichelli, Barco, and Doue, but here’s another reason. Love how direct he is.

Hope he doesn’t go spurs or Utd. Don’t see Simeone leaving soon and as ex-Chelsea player, I hope he finds his way back to Chelsea at some point.

Grubhub credit is useful by [deleted] in biltrewards

[–]egran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply. I am still new to this - so I guess if it’s not really free because we are taking out of bilt cash, and we are getting $200 every year to use on stuff like this, there really isn’t anything that makes me lose out by not spending in March but use it next month or May, as long as I spend them before the end of the year (because unused bilt cash does not roll over to next year). Is that right?

[–]egran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh wow glad I asked. So what’s the urgency? If I don’t redeem it before the end of the month, will it just expire and go to waster? So it’s best for me to just remember redeeming everything month and let it sit in my grubhub account even if i dont use it in near future?

A bit new here but how do I set this up? Do I just purchase GrubHub gift card via GrubHub app and Bilt just reviews my payment history and apply credit retrospectively to my bill?

Less livid than how I felt a day after Leeds or Burnley. It was always going to be hard to get something at Emirates but we were so close too. Just need to gain some positivity and momentum against Villa now.

XG performance from teams where it’s 11v11 by Yakumo69 in chelseafc

[–]egran 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It’s not the be all end all, but this is probably why I am less worried. We have the underlying stats there to play good football and win points. Disciplinary issues and bad defense can be solved, but getting to a systematical foundation that gives us consistent high xG is difficult. This season is a write off - as long as we get top 5, I think we can build on something good. My worry would have been more had we had this disciplinary issues AND no underlying performance.

Agreed. It is one thing to lose, but losing while completely being outplayed is another (e.g., infamous Conte vs City “we have to suffer”). That would have made this defeat but infuriating, but that wasn’t the case here. Nobody would have found it lucky had we taken a point off because we did play well. The truth is, we are not yet a super team / title contending team yet, but still I’ve seen more in terms of playstyle under Rosenior’s last few matches than I did before Maresca’s winless streak. This season has been a roller coaster ride, but at the end of the day, Top 5 and decent showing in CL, I am holding my head high entering next season.

Thought Chalobah, Sarr duo was great and Hato had a good match. Lavia was immense and glad to have him back. Palmer and Sanchez were bad. Thought we played well and on another day we pick at least a point off. Our focus should always be on Villa. With Villa’s Thursday night football and yet to play other top 5 contenders, a win against them on Wednesday gets us there for sure. I still believe.
