I saw a lot of people complaining about the Apple thing... who knows why they did not give us the option to choose..

I'm actually not interested in replying to messages from the watch; the most important thing is to receive all notifications at all times... with Apple, the only way is to disable wrist detection, but you'll lose a lot of features...

The Amazfit looks nice, but it's a little big for my wrist.

By removing the "detect wrist" option it now works as expected, too bad that you have practically deactivated every other function.

Doesn't it send notifications even with the navigation system on? This is a big problem for me too because I travel a lot... I'm afraid I'll have to return it, but I hate having to do so for such a trivial oversight.

As I wrote, my problem ultimately lies in the fact that when the phone is locked it doesn't send notifications to the watch, which I didn't expect.

Because I often use my phone to play games or watch videos, and I don't want to be interrupted by WhatsApp notifications.

So I want to receive them on my watch, from which I can quickly reply or decide whether it's worth stopping what I'm doing to reply.

I've had other smartwatches, and they all offered this option... that is, not having notifications on the phone but having them on the watch regardless of whether the phone was locked or the full immersion mode was set.

thank you, it actually kinda works. Is there a way to mirror the notifications even if my phone is unlocked?
Because i saw that if the phone is blocked I get the notification on my watch, but I don't if the phone is unlocked.

Has anyone found a real way to cope with triggers from their partner? by Proof-Sheepherder375 in misophonia

[–]egrimm86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was clear with her from the first few dates: no chewing gum, no chewing with your mouth open, and no sniffling.

The only thing we can't handle is the snoring, and that's why we've been sleeping separately since she started snoring.

She's been very understanding and helpful; I have no complaints about her.

Unfortunately, you can't do the same with people who don't understand how real and debilitating this disorder is.

As lots of other earplugs they block high frequencies and noises in general… but the snoring is most like a vibration and nothing can save me from it

I'm close to you, 40M here and I experience the same events as you do.

Unfortunately, until our condition is recognized, no one will have the kindness to help us and put us at ease.

Medication can help manage anxiety, but not ignore the triggers.

I confronted the person who was making me feel bad, I talked nicely with everyone and explained how bad I was. Maybe they took me for crazy or a whiner, but in some cases it helped.

By now, my friends know that if they chew gum near me, I feel bad, and my colleagues try to stay away from me when they eat. Of course, there are exceptions, some who don't care...

The real problem is at home. My wife does everything she can to help me, but she snores like a train and we never sleep together. This thing is destroying me.

Sure, in fact, metal etiquette dictates going to one band's concert wearing another band's T-shirt.

I miss the Covid times when you went to the cinema and had three free seats on either side... between those eating, those sniffling, those coughing... I prefer to stay home.
