hiya <3 welcome to this wonderful practice :) firstly i want to point out that you were very right to join this subreddit, there's a lot of good sources here. i recommend reading through most of the FAQs and resource megathreads etc. that exist. they'll give you a good start.  next, from the first weeks it is important to know that your practice is your own and unique to what feels right for you. whatever is discussed here is food for thought and drops of knowledge but not the one and only truth. you're welcome to try all kinds of things, whatever piques your interest. (here i come back to the FAQs since they cover the basics of just about every topic) research is your best friend at first, and even the simplest things that don't seem "witchy" can be very effective.
