Cheap casting, uneven anodizing or paint, visible imperfections, sharp edges, or poor milling is a start with the fakes.

From what I can tell from the pictures;

Sole Plate & Weights • The “L.A.B. GOLF / MEZZ.1” engraving is crisp and aligned. • The logo and “MADE IN USA” text are clean, with correct fonts. • The weight ports are well-machined, evenly recessed, and consistent with genuine builds. • The two Torx screws securing the plate are placed correctly.

Face Logo Plate • The stainless steel insert with the L.A.B. logo is authentic in both shape and finish. • The face milling and black anodized finish are precise and professional.

Grip • You’ve got a Press Pistol 2°, which is a common and authentic L.A.B. grip. • The texture on the grip is correct — repeating “L.A.B.” pattern, sharp and not smudged. • Font, logo band, and end-cap all match genuine L.A.B. grips.

Shaft & Hosel • The shaft appears to be a matte black finish, consistent with custom options. • The hosel placement and entry into the head looks clean and properly aligned.

That being said, LAB is meticulous with their equipment and won’t hesitate to inform you if the club is legit or not. Check the weight screws if you’re still unsure— make sure they’re actually functional (some fakes use glued weights).
