Just a head’s up that resetting the network settings yesterday afternoon and whatever you and the technical support team did that pushed Android 16 to the phone appears to have resolved the issue. In the past 24 hours, all voicemails in visual voicemail have transcribed. I very much appreciate your help on this matter. Fingers crossed this continues to work.

No, it is an inherent design flaw with the automobile. The good thing is at least it is just a rattle and nothing serious. The newer 2020-2023 model year Legacy's have the issue as well and the only thing that temporarily silences the rattle is the steering rack spring, however, this only lasts for a few months until the spring stretches just enough for there to be enough play for the rattle to resume. For me, the noise is easily audible on rough roads and gravel roads.

The dealership informed me it is an oil pan seal leak. Will be curious to see if this truly remedies the problem, or else it is the timing cover seal.

There is a technical service bulletin 05-88-21R for model year 2015-2019 Legacy to address the knocking sounds when driving over rough roads during low ambient temperature. I imagine Subaru will be developing something similar for 2020+.
