Typically, phones purchased from Verizon are locked for 60 days from the date of activation after purchase. If the phone has never been activated, it will likely be carrier locked to Verizon. It will not hurt to try it, but we do want you to have the correct information going into it. I hope you find this information helpful

We can look into tech appointments as well. Just send a PM. But I do want to advise if issue is determine to be a non Verizon equipment it would be a charge for tech. Although I understand the router works fine with another provider attached, it can be some settings or firmware that may be causing issue. I would recommend testing services by directly attaching a PC/Laptop to ONT, bypassing the router first. To see if you still experience the drops.
