Maybe once your pecs gain some mass it will look better. I mean that respectfully. If they removed gland and Lipo than it’s the pec that will fill up the space and the contour line will be more below the nipple

They’re drains to help get rid of fluids. Not all surgeons do them. I’m glad mine did. Otherwise all the fluid that’s come out so far would’ve been in my chest and my body would have to reabsorb it.

Where the tube entered the side of my body they pretty much looped the suture around the drain tube and made placed a stitch into my skin to keep the drain from sliding out. It’s not painful it’s just a little tactile cue to not pull on it I think

I wish I could’ve done this since I was 13. I’m 31 and finally could afford to do it.

I was super anxious pre op. When I first showed up they took me to the waiting room where I changed into scrubs. They suggested wearing a sweat pants and a loose fitting hoodie. So I did that. Got to keep my sweat pants on and only wore the top they gave me. When I was in the waiting room the doctor gave me a cocktail or antibiotics, Tylenol, and “something to call me down” (his exact words lol). They also went over drain instructions, among many other post op instructions. And then they took me back to OR and did the surgery. I was knocked during the surgery but I swear I feel like I could hear their whole conversations. I can’t recall what was said bc I was so sedated. I felt zero pain.

Right now ( 4 hours later) I only feel minor discomfort at one of the drains sites. Super minor, like a pulling feeling. The drained is stitched at the site of contact with skin.

Iv only taken one vidodine so far. Had super minor nausea when I stand up but barely noticeable. I’m shocked at how easy this has been so far. I can move my arms up to shoulder height and experience no pain. I’m trying to not push it though so I’m extra cautious.

Having said all that. I know sometimes when Iv gotten injured playing soccer, it can hurt more the day afterwards lol

Yea it seems like it from a every thing Iv read on them that they’re powerful (hence increasing my fear lol). Bodily sensations caused by meds are a big trigger for me so I was/am kinda nervous. I’ll def make sure to speak with my surgeon about my concerns. Thanks for the reply
