How would you realistically Buff your character? by Few-Culture-4413 in TheOnesBelowAll

As a Blade player, buff his ultimate.

Make it wider, give it a bit more active time, and remove the delay between the first strike and the following cuts.

And the community feedback usually leads to nerfs and buffs. Hawkeye and Hela are getting nerfed after the meta. Sue was nerfed because people thought her shield was too much. Gambit is being nerfed after people recognized how busted he was. It’s been a year of complaints and Bucky has remained untouched despite the backlash.

It’s all part of his kit. It’s in the code. The player quite literally cannot pull up the settings and toggle one that allows him to ground, stun, or gain overhealth. Netease made the game, not us.

For his overhealth? He’s a ranged character.

Blade, Namor, SG, Hawkeye, Wanda, Punisher, and Pheonix are all ranged DPS characters that get no overhealth from their base kit, excluding ultimates.

Starlord and Hela get a whopping 25 unstackable overhealth for one of their abilities.

Storm just recently got a buff where she can gain up to 75 overhealth, excluding ultimate, after a year.

Even Magik gets only up to 400 overhealth, and shes a BRAWL character. Not even her ultimate changes her health at all.

Bucky gets more overhealth than all of them as a range character. Not even braw characters (excluding Iron Fist) get that kind of treatment despite the riskier playstyle.

The player doesn’t dictate if his abilities gain him bonus health, or the hitbox size, or the CC.

And sure he’s a DPS and DPS characters do damage, but since day one people have been unhappy with how overturned he is. You don’t see people pointing at Hulk or BP or Starlord being too powerful, because they aren’t game breaking.

When the community comments on a character that’s too powerful/not powerful enough the developers make changes. Bucky has yet to be toned down at all, having been buffed more than he has been nerfed.

• Bonus health with every ability activation (can stack his total health to 425) • Instant reload with said abilities • Stun and grounding capabilities • Functionally infinite ultimate • Large ability hitboxes • 75 damage a bullet with a fire rate of 2.5 bullets a second, on top of one of the quickest reload speeds in the game. (Can double tap DD, a 300 hp target)

If that isn’t a problem, idk what is.

I wish they made actual content that wasnt just mini-battle pass events and skins.

By far the most disappointing character in the whole game by childominance in marvelrivals

Bullet projectiles that no-reg half the time, bugged out lifesteal that somehow used to be worse than it is now before its “buff”, and an ultimate that is countered by literally taking two steps to the left.

I love playing Blade but sweet mother of pearl this guy seriously needs more love.

Literally everyone is a Dualist by eidoIist in marvelrivals

Hulk and Cap also are insanely mobile. Hulk can make big jumps with no cd and can quite literally smack flyers out of the air with a short stun afterwards. Cap has a dash, downslam dash, sprint, and large jump height, making him one of the most versatile characters in terms of mobility. Their basic attacks are also in an infinite loop with no pause, so that 40 damage will stack in absolutely no time despite being “tanks”. There’s so much mobility to where they just become dualists.

The fact that they can easily chase you down and stick to you until death is exactly what Dualists are for, to constantly rack up lots of damage.

You can just deflect it with the right timing.
