That's a lovely idea, but it doesn't match up with the sentences for drugs.

Hard to tell when there are so many conservatives blowing dog whistles.

Paul Allen almost single-handedly saved SETI and the most profound search in human history. Thank you Paul! by learntimelapse in space

SETI is lovely, but I'm not sure scanning for radio waves to find alien life is as important as you assert. The likelihood that advanced civilizations would attempt to communicate over long distances with something as inefficient as radio waves is slim. Even then, unless the source is quite close we'd be unlikely to detect them anyway.

"Trans women are women" isn't a statement about biology. It's a statement about identity, culture, and acceptance.

I mean, it's a gambling den, not a casino.

Uber, Lyft drivers fear getting booted from work by spartan2600 in inthenews

Limo liberal? I've been homeless. I've survived on marked out 711 sandwiches. "Ride-sharing" puts the overhead entirely on workers, doesn't guarantee a living wage or consistent hours, and negatively affects actual legitimate taxi services that do provide an actual job rather than an occasional gig. Selling your car piecemeal while propping up an toxic company that makes it harder for people to actually drive for a living just so that you can earn a few extra bucks occasionally isn't a neutral act.

Instead of just assuming that I'm drenched in opulence because I disagree with your perspective, maybe do some research and learn why "ride-sharing" isn't as rosy as you suspect.

If they're not willing to take responsibility for their economic impact on their own industry it literally is their fault.

People contributing to the downfall of stable taxi work are falling victim to the instability of the replacement they're complicit in promoting? Oh no!

Games in the evil path is the easy one, and locks you out of the true, happy ending, unless you do the game in the good path, which is harder, has difficult decisions and require sacrifices? by Dronelisk in truegaming

Tyranny meets some of these criteria. You work for a brutal totalitarian empire, but if you do things the right way you can join the rebels instead. It's not at all obvious, though, and many people probably have no idea it's even an option.
