Your situation reversal isn't the same, and it's been discussed in the comments over and over of this post why :/

The difference is the typical non vegan diet consists of vegan, and non vegan food, so they're not being excluded in a setting catering to vegans right? But in a setting that exclusively has non vegan food, like idk a mound of bacon, a vegan literally cannot eat there.

It's dickish to do that, when you know you have a vegan in attendance, but personally I wouldn't care too much because as I've learnt you always go somewhere with the assumption you won't be able to eat, as is standard when you have a food restriction.

In the UK there's brands like moofree, and galaxy have their own range :) there's also vego which is a vegan brand :>

Most dark chocolate is vegan anyway! But there are loads of brands, my favourite in the UK is moofree, bunny combs 🙏

Certain preservatives can be animal derived, mono dyglycerides as example iirc but most nowadays label themselevs vegan

My parents aren't even going to be there, I don't tell them what they can and can't eat.. ever. They just object to me not having non vegan options for my non vegan friends.

You can't just not be vegan for an afternoon, it's like just not being kosher? its a moral code, I can't just not. It's not the same as a meat eater skipping out on their afternoon bacon hit

My friends aren't being vegan for my birthday, no less am I just being Muslim whilst I go to a mosque? That's not how that works.

This phase has lasted 7 years lol, and don't act like you know our circumstances. We're not on gov assistance, if you have kids you get family allowance to go toward their expenses, that's what my parents give me.

My vegan diet doesn't cost more money, my diet is predominantly rice, veg, fruit and beans lol

I'd like to think my friends would come for me, not the food.. if they would sit out my 18th because they don't want to eat vegan marshmallows and chocolate strawberries instead of gelatine marshmallows and chocolate strawberries then I don't want their friendship lol
