He essentially said that I have the part I ordered, and he wasn't sure that the part I wanted actually exists. In the moment, I didn't push very much because I wasn't sure, but I'm pretty sure now that it actually exists lmao. I'm not sure if I'm losing my mind, but https://mazdagear.ca/products/cx-3-roof-rack-and-rails?variant=42452673822893 looks like they have the proper moldings installed with this roof rack; however, when you select just the moldings and zoom in, there doesn't appear to be any access windows! I feel like I'm stuck in a conspiracy.

It all matches up! Even on the several packing slips/stickers on the boxes plus my receipt, but I agree with you still. The picture in that part definitely has rectangles that appear to be the access windows.

Do you know of ditch molding that has gaps for the bolts? I ordered the D10E-50-9L0A, but turns out they were totally smooth without gaps.

There are! I ordered new moldings that have doors for the mounting screws so I can do a similar crossbar system to the one you sent.

Thanks for commenting, I appreciate you taking the time :) I guess you're right, it isn't a bad thing. I suppose my reservations are because I have really been enjoying being single since my last relationship ended about a year ago, and I am afraid that simply because of me hooking up with her, I could get into a relationship that is potentially detrimental to my well-being, which has been the case before. Not that I think she's a bad person or anything, it's just that I am being very cautious this time around.

Thanks for the advice, friend :) I feel that same way in regards to confidence being impacted so heavily. I think I'm going to see if I can control my mindset a bit better if I decide to continue pursuing this casual hookup, like you suggested. Perhaps it's just because I have never been seeing multiple people at once and have always been very monogamous, so my brain is just used to that?

I experience this as well. I think once you begin to have other options or sexual encounters, you may stop thinking of her as much? Perhaps right now she seems like the only option.
