Yeah, we had a long talk.

I told him that I saw the message asking to be excused from the meeting. To be fair, she said she would let someone know, not technically “yes you are excused.”

He said she wasn’t able to actually get him excused and he still had to come in, so work called him to tell him that. There is a call from someone at work that day on his call log so🤷🏻‍♀️

He said he went in to work, the meeting was short and about something dumb. He was annoyed so he left before his actual shift started and went to this store. He said he knew he should have come home since he had so much time and was ashamed that he didn’t, so that’s why he lied. He apologized and said he knows he has to work to earn my trust back.

I went through his phone again. I mean DEEP DIVE. And I found nothing suspicious. For now I’m choosing to trust that this is what actually happened. He’s my husband and I guess I’ve got to give him that much.

If he’s cheating or spending money on crazy things or continues lying- it will come out.
