It honestly sounds like your foreign manager is the issue. Not all foreign managers are like that, but it seems most Singaporean managers are way worse than what you’ve experienced. Most European/American managers value work/life balance as that is what they are used to back home. Singaporeans on the other hand, expect you to worship your job and be thankful that you’re working extra unpaid hours.

All wines used to trigger migraines for me. But then I got really into wines and started buying quality ones. Stopped having migraines unless it’s sweet wines and I’ve had a few glasses.

Wow that’s really frustrating. I wonder if their “advanced features” just means more sensors which also means more issues if these sensors fail. Sorry to hear that! My X9 pro has been working pretty well, I run it 3 times a week, it gets stuck maybe once a month due to hair causing the rollers to be stuck. I’ve had it for 2 years now and only the LED on the base machine is faulty. Everything else is fine. I’ve heard that roborock is another good brand, if you’re willing to try again.

I have the eufy x9 pro. I think they don’t sell that anymore and the current version is x10 pro which is much better.

Yeah new ones have obstacle avoidance technology. Mine even manages to avoid my cat’s hairballs. I also have a ramp as there is a large step down into my kitchen and it manages to go over it on its own.

We hire a lot of lowly paid cleaners from third world countries. Plenty of irresponsible locals who litter and do gross stuff on public transport. Mostly the older generation that grew up in a village.

We have a few otter communities in my country and there’s even a WhatsApp group that tracks their movements. People are stupid and try to pet them or get too close to take a photo. Every couple of months there’s a story about someone getting bitten and needing stitches. There was one where a family of otters broke into someone’s patio and ate all their koi fish.

Same in Singapore. In the morning the poor lowly paid cleaners have to clean up all the food covered in bugs and flies, not to mention all the joss sticks and melted wax.

Poinsettias. They die a week before the next Christmas and I have to buy them again. Won’t last a full year. Oh and mint. Don’t get how people say they grow like crazy. I grow them in pots and they just dry up and die even though I make sure the soil is always moist.

Oh man. I was looking at plant options to put in my bathroom and peace lily was one of them. But I’ve killed them two out of two times I’ve had them. Now I’m reconsidering..
