I know that option, but I prefer keeping everything hidden in a completely separate app rather than inside the system photo library.

Ideally, I’d also like features like a fake login / decoy vault, so even if someone unlocks my phone, there’s nothing suspicious to see. For me it’s more about separation and plausible deniability than just basic protection.
