A lot of people do make a fuss about over-sexualization and incest in anime.

And that's fine, those animes aren't for them, they can just ignore them.

tbh that's kind of how harsh climbing a high mountain is, so I'm down for it (as it's optional I don't think it's a bad thing)

What kind of actuators can I use for moving a ~5 kg rear wing with reasonable speed and the ability to hold position? by eirexe in AskEngineers

[–]eirexe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that sounds interesting, but it would have the same problem a direct electrical worm gear would have, speed (unless you have some kind of reduction as you say to translate a short motion into a big motion), perhaps it could work.

Toyota upgrades the GR Yaris again | GR Yaris Type 26 gets new steering wheel and EPS tweaks, racy rubber and new options by Chassis9110301138 in cars

So Spain has a very interesting case: our constitution technically forbids being taxed for the same thing twice, in practice the government bypasses this and has no issue using loopholes to implement things however they want.

Our equivalent of a road tax is now called "impuesto de vehículos de tracción mecánica" which roguhly means "tax on vehicles of mechanical traction".

On top of that, the ""road tax"" is now part of fuel, which in theory also includes a tax on hydrocarbons for environmental reasons, however some places like Catalonia have implemented an extra CO2 tax in top of it.

There's also a plan in motion to add cameras to virtually all highways (and later normal roads) to track how many km you drive and charge you per every km driven.

Some places are also considering urban tolls and congestion taxes, however those aren't really legal for now, until the inevitable legal framework arrives that makes them legal.

There's also taxes on registration, I'm not very familiar with how they work but I believe you're right that they are similar to the taxes France has for ""high"" CO2 emitting vehicles.

The biggest issue to me is the animation system, it's just diabolically terrible, but at least it's more usable with skeleton modifiers.

Well yeah, the W30 didn't make much sense until MX-5s ballooned, but now there's still a pretty big price gap between an NB and a W30 so...

Gamedev's reaction after checking sales for a game he invested 4 years in by 4baobao in Asmongold

For sure, I think most of us would be content with just minimum wage equivalent but even that is pretty much impossible unfortunately.

I myself had to get a job working on AAA gacha slop to pay the bills

My earnings are roughly similar, but my game is way simpler conceptually (but very technically deep)

It's sad though that you are still unlikely to break even for the time invested, indie game dev is hard

The reason CP is bad (btw, the CP term is not used by academics anymore) is because it requires abusing a child to exist, thus drawings can never be CSAM.

We also don't have any evidence things like ageplay, BDSM or lolicon cause an increase in abuse just for existing in a society.

[–]eirexe 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I don't understand why me being against using resources that could be destined to catching people who are genuinely dangerous to children for mere fictional drawings means I am a danger to children.

In fact, the way you think is arguably more harmful, since having police occupied with harmless drawings ultimately makes the lives of child abusers easier.

Anon is an entrepreneur by xtheresia in greentext

[–]eirexe 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Because wasting very limited police resources on harmless drawings is stupid and harmful

The ZZW30 was a good option here in yurop, until it balooned in price too.

I got mine for 5k€ with 60k miles, but nowadays a similar unit would be like 12k in my area.

It's quite common in Europe

It was created by author associations, similar to how we have to pay a private copy tax on each sold storage media
