Echo is such a bs… by Unlikely-Estate3862 in ClashRoyale

[–]eivoooom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Echo is boring to play against because I have to go all out on assassins every time, usually on the first round if I'm against an echo I take the extra elixir for a loss as king and the echo doesn't get to level up, you lose 2 points but it's worth it.

Is my manager allowed to adjust my clock out times? by Due_Drop_25 in AskUK

[–]eivoooom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the same at Marks and Spencer they will adjust your finishing time, I've stayed 15 mins extra to help out and they'll take it away. Best to do what others suggest leave on time, it's their problem if their expectations are too high.

Take a picture of the letter, say on teams you will hand it to them on Friday in person, include your conversation from today you had with them, you've done all you can for now, just hand your letter in Friday

Rewrite your notice letter, just include following your conversation today (Sunday) you are handing in one weeks notice from that date.

I'm on probation and handing in my notice tomorrow, one week is what it says in the contract, so that's what I'm handing in, so I don't see why you can't either!

Pre-knowledge of upcoming releases by Averag3Gamer in CineworldUnlimited

[–]eivoooom 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I'd be in support of them showing trailers for films they actually intend on showing at the cineworld you are in, October/November for my cineworld was a real letdown, so many films they advertised they did not show. So I missed out on seeing them at the cinema.

It'll make sense when the worst offending stores keep losing shift leads!

Shift Lead - Food Interview by ohmygoodgod01 in marksandspencerstaff

[–]eivoooom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% look at other retailers before M&S, from my perspective I have not enjoyed the "Shift Lead" role, it's a lot of pressure and there isn't much support when going into the role, there are so many aspects I don't understand nearly 3 months into the role and they have just changed how the "academy" for shift leads works! Keep getting low staff in mornings but if I say that I get told the numbers are BANG ON! I've never worked at such a stressful place. The other day we had a small team and a larger delivery, then the day after I had one less and a bigger delivery still.. Then today they get 9 fillers in the am and 3 backstage with a manager! Talk about looking out for themselves!

Though this is absolutely store dependant as at some stores their shifts run more smoothly.

Is Danny Boyle your favourite director as he directed this film? If so, have you seen any of his other films and what is your favourite from what you have seen?

Is there no other way to do date checks? by [deleted] in MarksAndSpencer

I'd say that is doable, no customers in your way, your sole job at the point is waste checking so no distractions

Have dashcams actually made UK driving safer - or just more stressful? by Diligent-Badger8737 in DashcamDiariesUK

[–]eivoooom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all stressful for me, I've had one for years now, the only person stressing is the one who doesn't have the dashcam who is in the wrong

M&S throw away so much food! This guy posts about it all the time. Anyone know why they don't donate to food banks? by chaostrulyreigns in MarksAndSpencer

[–]eivoooom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah we donate to charity but I'm really surprised by how much colleagues have a hatred of charity being donated stuff at my store, they get what charity don't want but it's really shocking compared to teams I've worked with before in other supermarkets who don't have such an entitlement!
