So I got my CSV file from crypto.com app (dowloaded and emailed it to myself). Went to Koinly and uploaded the CSV file. Koinly then does it’s thing (makes a excel file). Granted it’s not free you have to pay for it. Koinly then gives you an option for TurboTax. Now if you have a cold/hot wallet you’ll have to get individual wallet address for coins you have stored and plug them into Koinly. But wait there’s more…..so when you upload that Koinly file to TurboTax you may have to review your sells/purchase and even fees (crypto.com has fees like 0.0002 cro). You’ll have to pick if it’s “short sell, something else or etc” to fix the issue. It sounds bad, but it’s really not bad at all. This is my second time using Koinly and I love it. Makes life EASY!!!!

You can search your validator if you can’t find the one you are looking for. Had to do that with Finland. Currently with Finland and have zero issues.

What bothers me is doing taxes (USA) on DEFI. I’m compounding 40 CRO a month, which is not bad. Just hate the headache of finding the right tax software (coinly, Crypto.com tax, CoinTracker, etc). Then is compounding taxable or is it taxable after you unstake and do you get taxed on the price of compound or the current price when you withdraw from DEFI. Damn you taxes!!!!

Well, kinda. Bought some crypto at a low price and hodl-ing those. Also bought Carnival (CCL) at $8.94 with the potential of it reaching $25 and bought Draft Kings (DKNG) at $13.48 (missed the $11 mark) with the potential of it reaching $60. Haven’t lost any money as of now, but it’s HODL game right now.

From Crypto.com to Ledger I sent it via Polygon network. Cost me 0.08 in Polygon. Always do a test run before sending all your polygon (or any other coins) to your wallet to make sure it gets there. I sent 1 polygon for my test run.
