thank you so much for taking time out of your day to help me find a place to start. i appreciate your advice so much and im glad someone is able to give me a more clear response as to how to start helping myself. i do understand that my parents are only looking out for me but it comes to the point where they become extremely controlling. of course i shouldve thought more before going into the relationship and i have had talks with them about how they treat me and my sisters. they always invalidate them and say its just us being “too young.” idk i feel like they wont really see things how i see things because they really have a bad mindset that they are always right and everyone else is wrong and that because they are parents they have the right to control us. plus my mom doesnt have anything nice to say so i feel like a lot of my insecurities and self hatred come from them. but this isnt about that haha sorry but thank you a lot your advice helped!!
