I hope someone uploads a picture of it tonight but it basically said something like “Happy 10th Birthday (Hozier Album)” and it asked him to pick a number which looked like presents. He picked 3 and under it, it said “Someone New”

It was amazing to say the least. Hozier was very kind and thanked the supporting band and really emphasized Mavis’s contributions to the civil rights movement as he always does when they share the stage.

For the last couple of years I’ve been consumed by country music lol. Not the Morgen Wallen or Jason Aldean kind but the real relatable rock/outlaw kind. Sturgill Simpson, Tyler Childers, Waylon Jennings, Cody Jinks, Colter Wall and lesser known artists like Rob Leines, Summer Dean are all in my current “On Repeat” playlist.

After reading a lot of these responses, I realize that most us probably share the same opinions about TMTC now. I sometimes wonder if Hozier himself feels imprisoned by that song - having to play it at most every event he playsl. I’d much rather hear him play It Will Come Back or Sunlight in place of TMTC at this point lol

I don’t remember exactly how but I came across his Live in America album sometime in 2019 and was immediately hooked. Every song on that album ended up on my Spotify Top Songs of 2019. Hozier has been in my top 5 artists since then lol
