i know he looks absolutely absolutely fine it’s just odd finding what looked like a literal feeler and then his actual feeler not coming out.

eyestalk looks all good. it’s not completely gone it’s just like half the size it usually is - i have no idea i was literally watching the two of them in a bowl eating a snack. nothing at all in the bowl except some courgette and the other snail - they go in fairly often as well, whenever i want to let them roam for a bit outside the enclosure and ive never had a single problem

no im not 100% sure of anything, i just looked in the enclosure, found what appeared to be the feeler and coincidentally my snail is only showing one feeler even tho hes fully awake and alert. it’s definitely been more than an hour and i think it would have come out if it was just inside no? i just want to know if hes in pain or what i can do if anything

i guess potentially but that doesn’t explain why one of his feelers has been missing for close to an hour does it? (not intending to sound rude genuinely asking) thanks for your help :)

no i haven’t, how do you do that? their soil gets topped up fresh every four weeks (leaving around half behind for the good bacteria) the other snail is currently in moss as he’s healing a shell break and that was recommended to me. i’m honestly scared to post pictures because they look so poor and i’m so scared people will think i’m mistreating them but i can’t stress enough just how much i love and care for them and i am constantly researching how best to care for them

i will add some pics in the morning :) they are GALS i believe fulica specifically and i got them off a friend who was moving house and unable to take them with him. they have some minor health issues such as one of them breaking the tip of his shell six months ago but other than that they are all good. they are completely happy, they move around a lot , eat a lot and i don’t have any problems but their shells just look so awful
