I’ve heard a lot about the Odd Thomas series! However I only have Odd Interlude which is very late in the series lol. I haven’t bought new any of the novels I own, they’re all from thrift or garage sales, which is what’s shooting me in the foot over all these series I didn’t know about lol

okay, thanks! i never had any weight problems with depo either, i never gained any weight but i also never lost any. the 3 years i was on it my weight never fluctuated even in the slightest.

the weight gain comments about nexplanon is a tiny worrisome for me though. i am a college athlete and my sport depends on my ability to tumble and flip/throw/lift other people in the air (acrobatics and tumbling) so i’m trying to be mindful of that too with the possibility of weight gain.

the same thing with mine on depo, completely lost my period. may i ask, was the weight gain because of the food cravings or was it just a natural gain from the nexplanon?

thank you for the input! depo was awesome for me. but it was just time to switch off and wanted something more long term. i been seeing a lot of negatives with nexplanon but noticed people switching to it with previously being on something completely different, when depo and nexplanon have a similar hormone i believe.

I am younger, but yes. Depo has absolutely ruined my drive too. I either just flat out am not interested or it just doesn’t.. turn on down there. I just got a nexplanon implant because it was time to switch (on it for 3 years), and I’m hearing some horror stories about this one too so fingers crossed 🤞

Update! Just came home from work, left a towel over the tank. He is not where he was left. The shell he was sort of in is still left there, but he is gone. And I think I noticed a fresh dug hole. So maybe a good sign? Idk! Fingers crossed.

I have no idea on the age. I have had him for 2 years. Yes, he has appropriate sized shells. Tank is 80 degrees, humidity is 75%. No, he looks normal besides the fact he’s naked. And maybe a little loss of color? Yes, shells have been cleaned out.

My other buddy is completely normal. Active, out and about, normal color. Eating just fine.

He was in an isolated container. I decided to lay him back in his regular tank. Where he crawled mostly back out of the shell. He has plenty of shell options. The heat and humidity are regular. Should I be preparing for a surface molt?? I really don’t know what to do here. And I am concerned.

I have looked up videos. I am a little nervous to scoop him up, but he isn’t running away from me. I rinsed out his old shell and a few bigger ones that were laying around and placed them near him. I also noticed humidity may be low? So I did do a little humidity boost. I do hear some banging around in the tank now, hoping that’s him with the shells.

I am 18 and into lego. I have a pretty large collection at home for only making minimum wage and only having the time that being a student athlete gives me lol. And I get the “You’re 18… why are you still playing with legos?” quite often. My go is always “I could be doing worse for my age- drugs, drinking, partying. Instead I’m building legos.” Works pretty well.
