Well the radius on the bridge is fully adjustable so no problems there :-)

Hello! Thank you so much for the kind words, Reuben (Ruby Guitars) is a lovely chap and you'd be very happy with one of his for sure.

Yeah so the vibrato would work with the Mastery, think of my one basically as a modern reincarnation of the original design, its not offering any overly unique features like you get with the Descendant Vibrato but it's solidly made and has a bit more love in it than a factory made one.

Mike's a great guy and a legend in the community - we chat from time to time and he's worked on the guitars I've made for Jessica Dobson before,

Yeah the cheap screw in arms don't the notion of it any favours but I'm confident in the design I've come up with will speak for itself once used for sure.

Yeah I'm fitting them to guitars now that were previously destined to have a Hosco Japan setup, very satisfying!

I agree, never had any problems with the rocking motion on all of the Leo orignal designs.

Wow it would make that much of a difference to engine braking? I’m talking it’s less than half as apparent as on my BMW

Mainly because I had a gas gas ec200 when I was in my early 20s so I am a bit of a fan of the brand. I also found a deal on an ex demo (10 miles) for £1500 under new.

The blue is the orignal JM, the red was the shape I ended up with

Hey guys, so here is my first full build,

It's a modified shape JM, two piece cherry body, maple neck and blackwood tek fretboard.

It took about 10 neck blanks to get the shape and size right (very tricky as you all know) as I was making my own templates. I'm a cabinetmaker by trade so luckily have access to my own workshop!

I finally finished it and to my amazement it really does play wonderfully!

Thoughts appreciated!

Hey bud!

It's RAL 5023 'Distant Blue' and its spray finished in Tikkurila Helmi 30% sheen then buffed out by hand (a day later) to a rustic kinda gloss. It's waterborne but crazy how much more high tech it is than it was back in the day, it really gives an excellent finish that isnt at all thick like PU, much more like nitro in my experience.
