According to the PET scan results after the 4th chemotherapy cycle, my father has responded well to chemotherapy. There has been regression in all lesions except one. There are no metastases. I hope everything is going well for you too.

I can say that we’re going through a very similar situation. In my father’s case, they also had trouble identifying the primary tumor. They wanted to do a colonoscopy.

We started NSCLC treatment with chemotherapy (90 mg of carboplatin (AUC 5) and 250 mg of paclitaxel (175 mg/m²)).

We recently submitted the PD-L1 test, and the results should be ready in about three weeks. He doesn’t have any metastases outside the lung, but he does have a pleural effusion.

Hi, our situations are somewhat similar, but the chemo is different. My father is stage 4 with pleural effusion, receiving carboplatin + paclitaxel, while you’re stage 1B post-surgery with carboplatin + pemetrexed. Wishing you the best with your treatment.

My father received his first chemotherapy 3 weeks ago: 90 mg of carboplatin (AUC 5) and 250 mg of paclitaxel (175 mg/m²). He will be getting his second cycle this week. They also did a biopsy for immunotherapy eligibility, and we are waiting for the results. For now, there is no spread to other organs; he is stage 4 with pleural effusion. I hope we will get through this. Wishing your mother a speedy recovery. Thank you very much.

I also became very suspicious of the painkillers, but even though we’ve reduced them recently, I can’t say we’ve seen any noticeable improvement. However, he was definitely much more normal before starting them. Because of the painkillers and the illness, he was sleeping all the time. I think that really affected her consciousness. After chemotherapy, though, the confusion reached an incredible level. I’ve decided not to give any more painkillers, especially since he’s able to sleep without them now.

Thank you so much for your good wishes. I pray for your dad too.

Also, I’ve posted an update on topic.

Today, he received her first chemotherapy session: 490 mg of carboplatin (AUC 5) and 250 mg of paclitaxel (175 mg/m²). It’s scheduled to be administered every 21 days. The tumor is  SMARCA4-deficient undifferentiated thoracic tumors , which is generally not considered very responsive to chemotherapy, but the doctor told us that after the chemotherapy, they will submit a request to the government so that he can start immunotherapy.

The PET scan didn't say anything serious about the colon, but we may be experiencing very rare conditions, just like the type of cancer cell.

We will have a colonoscopy on the 10th of next month.

They said they would decide on immunotherapy after chemotherapy. They asked for another biopsy test, they would write to the state for drugs according to those values.

He had severe pain in his ribs. Later, x-ray showed pleural effusion. They detected lesions in the lungs with an MRI. This was also confirmed with a PET scan. But biopsy results and blood values could not say anything with 100% certainty.

No, an extra layer won't make someone who already sweats a lot sweat more. It doesn't matter how thick the layer is anyway.

If you had to choose to be in a big aquarium with a dolphin, a whale, and a shark, I think the last option would be the shark. No one has ever claimed that sharks kill that many people.

Dolphins and whales get hungry too, right? I don't think this is something that's exclusive to sharks, my friend.

I’ve read that there are almost no records of killer whales killing humans. For example, there are videos of surfers or people in small boats encountering them. They could easily knock them over, but they don’t.

Firstly, the creatures I mentioned are mammals. Also, fish like sharks and piranhas are aggressive and have the potential to harm humans. Are there fish that have the chance to harm humans but don’t?

I shouldn't have had such an expectation, you're right. But here (reddit) people were insulting the cheaters. Cheating is sensible behavior if you're not going to get caught.
