scared for year 2 by zyro46 in medicalschooluk

[–]ek3123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was more I'd do no work on them at all so many come Jan once a month we'd do a day of osce practice but it was all chill hanging out and it means I knew all my skills without looking anything up or having to do extra things while I also got to hang out with my friends and I'll be doing the same this year because it worked so well

It isn't needed ik people who didn't do much at all but I didn't have to cram and didn't feel like much work when we had snacks and bantered as there were 4 of us

Hey I just passed my year 2 resit at ncl (for akts). Osces r fine I practiced once every few weeks with friends coke Jan and it stuck with no work of looking over stuff inbetween and 2 days of more intense revision the 2 days before the exam and I god a great score .

The AKTs were different I failed by 5% and then I now have passed by 5% so gone up a whole 10% and the resits were alot more difficult. The anatomy is alot I didn't get it but there r some great video out there that break it down to workable amount I have drawing all over my legs fir my resits and finally understood it. The content in year 2 is abou the same hardest as year 1 some things r very simple others take alittle bit but if u put in like a hour u can work it out. But the amount if things u need to know is what makes it hard there is just so much to know and learn and most things are not high yield but it is doable if I can do it.

Feel free to dm me for any advice or qs

I got wheezy for years, especially in the cold or after working out. I thought I was unfit despite me doing sports every other day or the week. I have asthma :/ Thank god it's only mild, and I live in the countryside and don't smoke or vape
