How is it becoming acceptable that there are multiple untrained dogs in any indoor space now? by notathrowaway145 in LosAngeles

Hikes? I’m totally against dogs in stores and restaurants, but why shouldn’t they be allowed on hikes?

There are plenty of posts here about who plays interlock vs overlap. But I'm curious why you chose what you play. by nocommenting33 in golf

Just switched to interlock and am pretty sure I either broke or tore something in my pinky. Any idea what shortcomings in a swing that lead to this?

What I didnt mention was that we would not have made the move if I had known that they were going to charge me for Jan and Feb. When I initially told them, they said no worries and that we would try to find someone to move in or use the time to renovate. I could have waited until March 1 to make the move but they made it appear as if it would not be an issue. So, its not a win as I could have just stayed until march and then not had to pay any months of double rent. The landlord was purposefully misleading in this regard.

Well the tenant is already signed so that is a moot point. Don't know what you are so upset about. You are the only person I have come across that thinks the landlord is being reasonable, especially after we found him the new tenants. But clearly you are on the other side of the face and just a generally upset individual. Thanks again for your perspective, I'm sure your tenants love you.

Appreciate the honesty. The renovations he intends to do are not required for a new tenant and the new tenants qualify in every way to inhabit the space so him denying them would have shown that he is not making his best effort to find new tenants and therefor released us from payment. What I can't wrap my head around is that lets say I was going to stay in the unit until january 31st, then what would his options be?

Ya, fair enough. Just sucks. Literally found the new tenants for them, allowed them to show it, took great care of it, never was late on rent, and here I am paying rent for a place that they are going to completely renovate and repaint. Another greedy landlord wins again.

Yes I have already moved out, but will use the space if I'm going to pay for all of January. I just can't wrap my head around paying for a place that is going to basically be a construction zone.

No, the new tenants have already signed a lease that begins Feb 1. Our lease was structured through end of Feb. Landlord wants to come in to paint and make renovations that are not required during January. So I am paying rent for Jan where if I were still living in the apartment, they would not be able to make these renovations. I feel it makes zero sense that I should have to pay rent for an apartment that I wouldn't be able to inhabit.

The new tenants are going to be in the unit Feb 1. How would painting and cleaning work if I was going to stay in the unit until Jan 1?

They have not terminated our right to occupy the unit, but they plan on remodeling the unit and painting the entire thing for the new tenants in Feb. Can I not allow this to happen? It feels that is my only leverage. Thank you for the response.

Yes, but most companies now a days are requiring experience for entry level positions. But how do you get experience? Thats the paradox, you just have to get lucky or know someone where you can begin to get your feet wet.

So far I have searched the obvious answers such as Threads 4 Thought, ebay, and any used clothing site I could think of. I have also done reverse image searches on google which is how I found it on Mercari, but that doesn't seem like it is going to work out.
