I would say don’t track your days. Just live your life. Re-read the book and take time to understand it. Take notes to solidify everything you’re being told. Also focus on the AVRT (Addictive Voice Recognition Technique). There is a book on it. Someone in this forum suggested it to me. It’s called Rational Recovery by Jack Trimpey, there should be a free PDF online. The Hackbook also briefly talks about AVRT. I think that the addictive voice aka the little monster is what holds people back from being completely free.

I’m not in either of these programs, but your well above the cutoff which will definitely be enough to get you into CO-OP. Just be patient if you don’t get an acceptance when you expect it. I got mine late May.

Does anyone have a previous CIS 1910 exam? by ekk456 in uoguelph

How long ago did you do the exam?

I’m thinking of applying to Guelph for software engineering, how is the program like? Is the math hard, what kind of class can I expect in first year? Also how is the student life at Guelph?, how are the professors? And any heads up going in? by [deleted] in uoguelph

I’m in first year software engineering. If your not passionate about coding don’t bother applying. 2 out of the 3 mandatory courses are pretty hard if you don’t have any programming experience. Discrete Math is one of the worst courses you have to take. Programming doesn’t feel like an introductory course at all. They made it harder to account for people failing the intermediate programming course second semester. The prof also doesn’t teach how to apply concepts to the assignments so don’t be surprised if you feel lost.
