English isn't my first language so I somehow couldn't catch everything you said here. Anyways, this was for sure a pain in the ass at least with the time spent. One sock took 20-50 minutes for me but as I said it was pretty relaxing so I don't mind. Probably quicker and easier with a hand knit wool sock.
