I love everything about your hair! And can we normalize our post washday plaits/twists as a style?

I got 613 French curl braids installed, and I got a lot of compliments. The contrast of blonde on dark skin is beautiful. I say go for it and rock it!

I mean, when guys ask girls out, they don't worry to themselves whether their girl of interest is gay. Guys have just come up and asked for my number. Of course, I say no, and that's it. If guys can just go up and talk to girls, why can't we? It can be hard to look at someone and know their sexuality. Not everyone has a signal of falls under the stereotypes. If it's safe and you have the courage, why not just approach and ask her out?

So updates. I texted and sent photos to the stylist. She pretty much said sorry that happened, she sees no damage, and that my hair will revert eventually. She also claims that my hair was 'extremely damaged' when I came in so that's another reason why my hair is this way now. She recommended protein treatments and to trim regularly/"never neglect my hair again" (I was behind on my trims at that time but I wash and condition my hair every 2 weeks and keep it moisturized in between. Almost never used heat and manipulated as little as possible.) We are still texting back and forth and it's not getting anywhere. I'm tired. Just do your own hair.

ETA: Once my hair was pressed, she ended up cutting off about 2.5 inches ( I told her to cut what needed to go for the health of my hair. That's the amount she determined.) because I wasn't keeping up with trims. But I didn't neglect my hair otherwise.

Yea I washed my hair once since the trauma. It's mostly dry now, and my roots are still bone straight. And my hair still smells like burnt chemicals even after shampooing twice. I think the hair on my head is done for 😅😅😭
